My mobile phone company sent me one of these as an upgrade and I love it. Really cool styling and I found it pretty straight forward to use.

Bit hard to say if it's going to last a while but it looks ok not too fragile. No silly flip bit to break off or anything.

I got hold of an early version of this phone and I believe there might be some changes to the final version but it's stuffed full of neat features. Came in a nice leather case which was branded PRADA (what else?). Features include the standard issue camera (2 megapix) which all top end phones have to have these days, bluetooth, a slot for an SD memory card. MPEG4 video player, and will play back your MP3s.The screen is a good size and if you are surfing the web it's a darn sight easier on a screen this big that it is on most other phones. To make a call or send a text you have to use the touch screen pad on the front to dial the number. It works really well for numbers and the menus but I found typing a text message quite fiddly. For some reason you expect to be able to 'click' a button like a keyboard when you are texting - or at least I do - so the alphanumeric screen was not quite to my taste personally. I guess you would get used to it.

Some of the functions were hard to figure out without the instructions or manual.

Another beef I had was that the battery just about lasted 1 day - and that was on standby. That huge display eats batteries I guess. :(

Hard to judge so far as it's so new. The screen gets a bit 'thumbprinty' if you are a sweaty fella! It's a stylish phone and it looks good but for the money - and I hear it might go for around 200-300 pounds - I'd have expected it to be 3G at least.

I was given a pre launch version of the Prada phone by LG, sadly only for a week while I was at a mobile phone event.

First of all it look fantastic and quality is apparent from the moment it lands in your hand. Then when it starts up the user interface looks great too. It handles audio, video and browsing as well as any other phone on the market .

The Prada phone has all the functionality of a good LG handset only it seems that Prada have had a say in how the interface looks and works.

Due to it being a pre-launch version there was no manual, but this was not a problem as everything was where you would expect it to be; files contacts, browser, etc...

The only thing that I was not able to work out without the user manual, was how to get a number key pad to display while on a call (useful for deleting messages in your voicemail and sending comands to an automated call centre).

I was fortunate enough not to have to pay for this phone, but the flip side of this is that I was not allowed to keep it. This phone is not going to be subsidised by many mobile phone companies and you may have to pay full whack for it, probably upwards of £350.

What useful or interesting features does this gadget have? What's the best thing about it? What was it about this model that made you buy it in the first place? Is it difficult or easy to operate and work out how to use? Is the manual clear and consise or a bit confusing? Have you had difficulty with the size, shape, sound etc? Was it worth the cash? Does it look like it might survive being dropped on the floor? Would you buy another one if it went missing or was stolen? Do you wish you'd bought another model?
